“Music in itself is virtually a synesthesia. It gathers memories, states of consciousness, desires and climates to thereupon transfer these positions into sounds, for us to listen. Music has the true ability to evoke emotions, connecting us to mementos from a tingling summer warmth to barren, windy landscapes.
S4NTP-die Schneefreunde helps us to evoke these mementos with a performance that was aptly named: ‘’The Edge of the Alps’’.
Influenced by geographical qualities, die Schneefreunde from S4NTP turn their visit to Salzburger Land into an intervention at mountain height.
The pull of these performances is the search and the pursuit of temperatures and moods, even down to freezing point.
About ten musicians+artists will play live audio visual sets on Sunday 27th from Flachauwinkel, using soundscapes from alps, snippets from the environment, live visuals from alpine landscapes.”
