Das Loop amplifies the sounds of particle movements. By focusing on the granularity of the texture and the amount of texture deforms from the flock of particles, installation deals with the aesthetics of inaudible sounds made audible and allows us to hear micro particle movements in an unusual way.

In his solo exhibition at Errant Sound Özcan Ertek presents two kinetic-interactive sonic sculptures: “Devil’s Rope” and “Das Loop”. The exhibition examines and synthesizes various themes such as movement, migration, social change, and material observation based on movement.
