A virus changes the world. A world in which stability and unambiguity seem fleeting. A world of digital excess and personal groundlessness. What remains are toys in a crisis-surprise-egg without durability and life span.
"groundless" plays with the media of a changed world.
We want to offer the invited audience an opportunity to question the moment, the moment of “kafayi yemek”. ‘What makes us want to eat off our heads?" are the five questions asked by five artists:

What is the connection to our roots?
Özcan Ertek - Baklava

Has man become more and more disconnected from real life in a pandemic and become an become an independent capital?
Dawoon Park - Face Value

Which feeling can arise between landing and flight OR when will my balloon finally land, no fly! finally land, no fly!?
Jens Tiemann - Landing Pahe

What about the phenomenon of the feeling of guilt, of procrastination through self-optimation, in an industrialized affluent society?
Erik Anton Reinhardt - How to?

At what point are we too distanced from each other, so that we can just bear it? Fang Tsai - Embedded

As a part of 48h Neukölln Festival - Art Space Lab, we are reflecting upon this years festival theme, “kafayı yemek” (Ich esse meinen Kopf) on 24th, 25th and 26th June SUBTEI Berlin with a curated group exhibition.
