Citing names as varied as Floating Points, Four Tet and Flying Lotus as major influences on his work, Levi Loves Disco (Levi Berishvili, 20) has musical knowledge way beyond his young age. He has been djing at clubs since the age of 16. As time passed, Tbilisi (Georgia) based producer found out more about hip hop and came across its roots – funk and disco, which led him to the music genre that Levy found himself; house! The variety in influences is mirrored in the diversity of his productions - one week it’s forgetten disco, the next percussively textured style and sometimes hiphop and electronica beats. Now Levi is releasing six tracks EP via Transferans, Istanbul!
